Jetzt, Ende Januar, nach einer Woche mit \u00fcber 90 Grad Hitze und einer weiteren Woche mit Dauerregen, sind die Tage k\u00fchler. Doch am Abend kehrt die Luftfeuchtigkeit zur\u00fcck und die Klimaanlage ist ein Muss, um schlafen zu k\u00f6nnen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Was f\u00fcr verr\u00fcckte Wochen das in meinem Privatleben waren!!!
Eine liebe Freundin aus der T\u00fcrkei, die ich seit 4 Jahren nicht mehr gesehen habe, ist zu Besuch, und ich verbringe eine wunderbare Zeit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wir haben tagelang getanzt, gegessen, getrunken, sind spazieren gegangen und haben eingekauft. Ich genie\u00dfe die Zeit mit einer Chica. Es ist 2 Jahre her, dass ich einen Freund zu Besuch hatte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sie in die Welt des Tangos und der Milongas in Buenos Aires einzuf\u00fchren ist aufregend und ganz anders f\u00fcr sie, da sie erst vor 3 Monaten mit dem Tangotanzen begonnen hat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Und eine meiner sch\u00f6nsten Erinnerungen ist, dass mich ein anderer Freund in Buenos Aires in die Welt des Tangos einf\u00fchrte. Es war fantastisch und \u00fcberw\u00e4ltigend. Unglaublich, dass das schon 5 Jahre her ist!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tanzen im La Nacional <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Wir haben auf den Milongas am Nachmittag und am Abend getanzt, und ein paar N\u00e4chte lang haben wir sogar hintereinander auf den Milongas am sp\u00e4ten Abend getanzt. Tanzen in San Telmo, Monserrat, Boeda und Balavanera.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ich habe sie in die Welt des Asado (Grillen) eingef\u00fchrt, mit Fleischsorten wie s\u00fc\u00dfem Brot, Kutteln, Cabezon, H\u00fchnchen und vielen verschiedenen Arten von Carne (Rindfleisch), die in Massen auf einem kleinen hei\u00dfen Grillstand serviert werden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Da ich mein Essen gerne etwas sch\u00e4rfer mag, habe ich ein paar Restaurants entdeckt, die dieses Bed\u00fcrfnis befriedigen, und nehme meine Freunde in diese Restaurants mit. Sintesis... es ist eine Mischung aus thail\u00e4ndisch und vietnamesisch, serviert als Tapas. Lecker, lecker.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mehr, mehr, mehr. Aber immer mit Maske beim Tanzen und in den Bussen oder Taxis, beim Laufen durch die Stra\u00dfen und beim st\u00e4ndigen H\u00e4ndewaschen mit Schnaps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Abendessen in der Trade Bar<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Meine Freundin, die aus der T\u00fcrkei zu Besuch ist, hat sich 10 Tage nach ihrer Ankunft in Argentinien mit Omnicron angesteckt. Am Tag vor ihrem geplanten R\u00fcckflug nach Istanbul am Samstag wurde sie positiv getestet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sofort sagten wir alle ein Abendessen an diesem Abend und das Tanzen ab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

W\u00e4hrend ich die Vorbereitungen f\u00fcr meinen Test am n\u00e4chsten Tag traf, rief ich andere Freunde an, um sie \u00fcber ihre positiven Ergebnisse zu informieren. Es war interessant, die unterschiedlichen Reaktionen zu h\u00f6ren, die von der Entscheidung f\u00fcr den Test bis hin zum Nein reichten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meine Freundin lag drei Tage lang im Bett und f\u00fchlte sich, als w\u00e4re sie von einem Lastwagen \u00fcberfahren worden. Anfangs hatte sie leichtes Fieber, Kopfschmerzen, aber viel Schleim und Husten.
Drei Tage fast ununterbrochenes Schlafen und sehr wenig Essen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Am 4. Tag war sie immer noch m\u00fcde, aber sie f\u00fchlte sich schon fast wie ein Mensch. Kein Fieber. Immer noch ein bisschen hakelig.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Und am 7. Tag, als ich einen Rabenvogeltest zu Hause durchf\u00fchrte, war sie negativ. Wahoo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Die Fluggesellschaft, mit der sie in die T\u00fcrkei zur\u00fcckkehrte, buchte sie zwei Wochen sp\u00e4ter auf denselben Samstagsflug um.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Zu meiner Person: Ich bin in New Jersey geboren, habe in New York, Boston und San Francisco gelebt, zuletzt auf der Insel San Juan im Bundesstaat Washington und bin im Januar 2020 nach Buenos Aires gezogen. 38 Jahre lang kuratierte ich eine Galerie f\\u00fcr zeitgen\\u00f6ssische Kunst, wo ich meine F\\u00e4higkeiten verfeinerte und ein visueller Redakteur wurde. Immer mit einer Kamera oder irgendeinem Bildaufnahmeger\\u00e4t im Schlepptau [einschlie\\u00dflich viel schwerer Ausr\\u00fcstung], begann ich ungef\\u00e4hr zur gleichen Zeit mit dem Reisen und wurde vor etwa 12 Jahren in den Tango eingef\\u00fchrt. VIsuales Geschichtenerz\\u00e4hlen beginnt mit einem Moment. Irgendein innerer Mechanismus wird durch eine Szene, ein Ereignis oder eine Bewegung ausgel\\u00f6st und ... fertig ist das Foto. In anderen F\\u00e4llen geht es um einen Farbsplitter oder etwas anderes Ungew\\u00f6hnliches oder Gew\\u00f6hnliches, das den Blick fesselt. Da ich inzwischen flie\\u00dfend Spanisch spreche, ist es mein Wunsch, dass meine Geschichten und Fotos die breitere Tango-Community und andere Reisende erreichen. As to my personal info, I was born in New Jersey eventually, after living in New York, Boston, and San Francisco, most recently on San Juan Island in Washington state, I moved to Buenos Aires in January 2020. For 38 years, years I curated a contemporary art gallery, where I refined my skills and became a visual editor. Always with a camera or some picture-capturing device in tow [including much heavy equipment], I started my travel at approximately the same time, was introduced to tango about 12 years ago. VIsual storytelling begins with a moment. Some internal mechanism is triggered by a scene or event or movement and ...there's your photo. Other times, it\u2019s about a sliver of color or something else odd or ordinary that captures the eye.
