Jetzt ist es so einfach und leicht, mir Geld \u00fcber Western Union zu schicken. Die Filialen befinden sich \u00fcberall in der Stadt. Der Wechselkurs ist normalerweise der beste. Ich habe gerade 365 Pesos f\u00fcr einen Dollar erhalten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stellen Sie sich vor, Sie sind Argentinier und haben einen Arbeitsplatz vor Ort. Sie werden in Pesos bezahlt... das w\u00e4re ein sehr schwieriges Szenario.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Und ich liebe die Begeisterung, mit der die meisten Argentinier sich auf Englisch unterhalten. Normalerweise ist das erste, was sie sagen, \u201cMein Englisch ist furchtbar\u201d. Darauf antworte ich: \"Nein, du musst nur mehr \u00fcben. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gleich um die Ecke ist mein Fleischmarkt. Dort gibt es einen jungen Mann namens Carlos, der gerne meine Bestellung entgegennimmt. Wir unterhalten uns in zwei Sprachen. Ich \u00fcbe mein Spanisch und er sein Englisch. Er lernt Englisch in der Schule. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wenn Menschen neugierig auf Sprache und Br\u00e4uche sind, lerne ich so viel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ich finde immer noch Leute, die mir anbieten, f\u00fcr mich zu \u00fcbersetzen. Meine Antwort auf ihre Freundlichkeit ist: \u201cNein danke\u201d.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aber ich ziehe es vor, mich abzum\u00fchen, denn nur so kann ich die Sprache lernen. .<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All diese verschiedenen Facetten der Stadt tragen dazu bei, dass ich die Stadt genie\u00dfe.

Es ist so sch\u00f6n hier. Selbst wenn die Temperaturen bei 75% Luftfeuchtigkeit in den mittleren 90ern liegen. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aber zu meinem Gl\u00fcck lebe ich hier von Dollars und nicht von Pesos. Ich sch\u00e4tze es sehr, dass mein Lebensstil hier erschwinglich ist, denn ich finde, dass die USA jetzt sehr teuer sind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Zu meiner Person: Ich bin in New Jersey geboren, habe in New York, Boston und San Francisco gelebt, zuletzt auf der Insel San Juan im Bundesstaat Washington und bin im Januar 2020 nach Buenos Aires gezogen. 38 Jahre lang kuratierte ich eine Galerie f\\u00fcr zeitgen\\u00f6ssische Kunst, wo ich meine F\\u00e4higkeiten verfeinerte und ein visueller Redakteur wurde. Immer mit einer Kamera oder irgendeinem Bildaufnahmeger\\u00e4t im Schlepptau [einschlie\\u00dflich viel schwerer Ausr\\u00fcstung], begann ich ungef\\u00e4hr zur gleichen Zeit mit dem Reisen und wurde vor etwa 12 Jahren in den Tango eingef\\u00fchrt. VIsuales Geschichtenerz\\u00e4hlen beginnt mit einem Moment. Irgendein innerer Mechanismus wird durch eine Szene, ein Ereignis oder eine Bewegung ausgel\\u00f6st und ... fertig ist das Foto. In anderen F\\u00e4llen geht es um einen Farbsplitter oder etwas anderes Ungew\\u00f6hnliches oder Gew\\u00f6hnliches, das den Blick fesselt. Da ich inzwischen flie\\u00dfend Spanisch spreche, ist es mein Wunsch, dass meine Geschichten und Fotos die breitere Tango-Community und andere Reisende erreichen. As to my personal info, I was born in New Jersey eventually, after living in New York, Boston, and San Francisco, most recently on San Juan Island in Washington state, I moved to Buenos Aires in January 2020. For 38 years, years I curated a contemporary art gallery, where I refined my skills and became a visual editor. Always with a camera or some picture-capturing device in tow [including much heavy equipment], I started my travel at approximately the same time, was introduced to tango about 12 years ago. VIsual storytelling begins with a moment. Some internal mechanism is triggered by a scene or event or movement and ...there's your photo. Other times, it\u2019s about a sliver of color or something else odd or ordinary that captures the eye.
