Dear organizers and community <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Perseverance in collective work allows us to celebrate a new. We obtained the commitment of the Ministry of Culture of the City of Buenos Aires that they will approve the protocols for holding milongas in closed spaces in the week of 13<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We celebrate solidarity, empathy, care, and the collective that made us “pause” on March 11, 2020, and now allows us to return with approved protocols and official authorization. More than ever, this horizon of hugs will bid farewell to the pandemic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is such exciting news. I look forward to letting you know that TANGO is back in Buenos Aires, but with the new protocols, which I am sure will include vaccinated people only, wearing masks while dancing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For 38 years, years I curated a contemporary art gallery, where I refined my skills and became a visual editor. Always with a camera or some picture-capturing device in tow [including much heavy equipment], I started my travel at approximately the same time, was introduced to tango about 12 years ago. VIsual storytelling begins with a moment. Some internal mechanism is triggered by a scene or event or movement and ...there's your photo. Other times, it\u2019s about a sliver of color or something else odd or ordinary that captures the eye. As I am now fluent in Spanish, it is my desire that my stories and photos reach the broader tango community and other travelers. Travelingtango offers translations into Spanish, Italian, and German.
