{"id":4365,"date":"2022-12-31T15:26:53","date_gmt":"2022-12-31T18:26:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/travelingtango.com\/en\/?p=4365"},"modified":"2024-10-28T19:02:58","modified_gmt":"2024-10-28T22:02:58","slug":"changes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/travelingtango.com\/?p=4365","title":{"rendered":"Changes"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video height=\"1080\" style=\"aspect-ratio: 1920 \/ 1080;\" width=\"1920\" controls src=\"https:\/\/travelingtango.com\/en\/20221230_234806-mp4\/\"><\/video><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">December 30, 2022<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With the close of 2022, comes a change or two in the tango world of Buenos Aires.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The vaulted space of Sal\u00f3n Canning [Parakultural] is closing and moving in the new year to Club Marabu on Maipu calle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With out of country friends visiting, we all decided to go to this mecca of Tango.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For me, this was so sad because after entering this cavernous room, you noticed that fabulous huge tango photomural was not there. It was replaced by some mediocre small paintings or a big blank wall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Over the years, this showcase of Tango presented some of the finest dancers and tango orchestras.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Salon Canning will be missed, but as we know, life is fluid and changes all the time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Happy New Year, and may you enjoy your life, laugh with loved ones, and dance with the joy of being alive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Abrazo<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video style=\"aspect-ratio: 512 \/ 640;\" src=\"https:\/\/travelingtango.com\/en\/vid-20221228-wa0001-mp4\/\" controls=\"controls\" width=\"512\" height=\"640\"><\/video><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>With the close of 2022, comes a change or two in the tango world of Buenos Aires.
